Denver Restaurant Jobs with the Yard House

A popular national chain is looking to hire hundreds of employees for Denver restaurant jobs.

The Yard House Restaurant recently announced that it’s hiring up to 200 employees. The company is ramping up its workforce as it prepares to open a new restaurant at the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver this December.

The California-based chain restaurant will continue accepting applications at its employment center in the Cleveland Place through November 22nd. Applicants should bring a copy of their resume and be prepared to demonstrate their restaurant and food service skills.

The restaurant is currently looking to hire:

• Hosts
• Servers
• Bartenders
• Barbacks
• Bussers
• Line cooks
• Prep cooks
• Expediters
• Dishwashers

During September, the Denver-Aurora-Broomfield area’s unemployment rate remained at 8.1 percent for the second month in a row, after remaining at 8.2 percent during June and July. The latest decrease keeps the area’s rate lower than the national average at the time of 9.6 percent.

The Denver area had a total non-farm employment of 1,192,100 workers during September, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is up from 1,191,300 workers during August, but a .2 percent decrease from last year.
